Hi my name is Ken Behr I am a “Car Guy.” I’m not exactly sure when I became a car guy; I just know that is what I have become. It may date back to 1967 when my dad’s best friend became one of the country’s very first computer millionaires. He showed up in our driveway in a bright red Maserati Ghibli. The next thing I knew I was in the back of that classic Italian coupe speeding down the back roads of Wayne, New Jersey. The sun gleamed off the long hood as the engine roared and the pavement slipped effortlessly by as Uncle Frank shifted through the gears. I watched the gauges dancing, their chrome Bezels set perfectly in the handcrafted black leather dash of this 330 hp European dream car. I’ll admit that on that fateful day I felt like my hero, Speed Racer and his magic car the Mach 5. Later, when I became adult, this feeling was realized when I drove professionally on some of the great race tracks in America. So, now I love cars–new cars, old cars, classic cars and of course, race cars. My love goes beyond cars and bleeds over to planes, trains, trucks and boats– basically anything with a steering wheel. Now, 44 years later I’m an avid buyer and seller of cars with decades of experience in all aspects automotive. I am here to give the readers of our websites and blogs my insight and experience on topics from buying the right new car for your teen driver to leasing vs buying and how to get the best deal either way. We can explore what new technology and gadgets to expect. We will go back in time and visit classic cars and maybe even showcase a few of the cool cars owned by our readers and friends .
